Get ready for some muddy fun with this Mud Pie Picnic craft! Inspired by my song "Mud Pie Picnic," this hands-on activity is perfect for kids to practice fine motor skills while getting creative in the kitchen—no real mud needed!
What You’ll Need:
2 Printables – (1) Pie Crust & Mud, (4) Toppings
Scissors
Glue
Cardstock (recommended) or computer paper to print on
For a stronger, longer-lasting mud pie, print your pages on cardstock! But don’t worry- regular computer paper works just fine!
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Print Your Mud Pie Pages
Start by printing out both printables—one with the pie crust and mud, and one with all the yummy toppings!
Gather Your Supplies
Make sure you have everything ready:
✔ Scissors
✔ Glue
✔ Both printed pages

Cut Out Your Pieces
Carefully cut along the dotted lines on both printables.
Decorate Your Mud Pie!
Now the fun part! Glue your toppings onto your mud pie however you like! There’s a reference picture on the toppings sheet to give you ideas, but you can design your pie however you want!

Bonus: Draw Your Own Mud Pie!
Don’t have a printer? No problem! Grab a piece of paper and draw your own mud pie masterpiece!

Share Your Mud Pie Creations!
I’d love to see your Make Your Own Mud Pie masterpiece! 🎉 After you print, cut, and decorate, share your finished paper mud pies on Instagram, Pinterest, or Facebook! Get creative with your toppings and show off your mud-tastic work!
